SUPERCUT FAQ.

WHAT IS A SUPERCUT AND WHAT CAN I DO WITH IT?

After the SOAK film crew conducts its full-production film shoot at your location, we carefully curate the very best images captured. We then clean-up, colour-correct, stitch together, and deliver them to you as a 5-7 minute, uncompressed (Apple ProRes) video file in 4K resolution.

A Supercut provides you with countless shots that can be used and reused again and again. We deliver ready-to-use video so you can efficiently and effectively create online marketing content you need to tell your story and promote your brand. The heavy lifting has already been done (cropping, image stabilization, colour grading, etc.). You just grab whatever clips you need, and run with them.

WHICH SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS IS THE VIDEO COMPATIBLE WITH?

It depends on which package you choose. Our most basic package (Package A) provides you with video content in a standard 16:9 aspect ratio. Optimizing your video files for each platform requires extra work, but one of our offers is to do all of that for you. Packages B, D & E all provide video content in two different aspect ratios (17:9 or 16:9 & 9:16). Those aspect ratios allow you to effortlessly create content for Instagram (Reels & Stories), Tik Tok, Facebook and YouTube.

WHAT IF I NEED VIDEO AND PHOTOS?

Not a problem. Some of our packages also provide you with still-frame images pulled from each shot that’s included in the Supercut. We hand select the best frame to export, and then edit, colour correct, and deliver them to you as hi-res JPGs.

WHAT SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS ARE THE STILL IMAGES COMPATIBLE WITH?

Again, it depends on which package you chose. Packages C & D provide you with still images in a standard 16:9 or 17:9 aspect ratio. Package E, however, provides still images in two different aspect ratios (17:9 or 16:9 & 9:16).

WHAT IS AN INSTAGRAM GRID?

Instagram grids provide a unique and creative way to post content and set your Instagram feed apart. Package E provides you with one 3x3 grid. We happily offer ongoing social media consultation / grid creation. Rates for this service can be negotiated separately.

HOW CAN I KEEP ALL OF THESE FILES ORGANIZED?

We make this incredibly easy for you. We will deliver a meticulously organized file library via DropBox with a very intuitive folder architecture. To give you an idea of how your library will look, please view our example file library on Dropbox.
